A Little About Me

Welcome,

I am happy you have come here to learn more about Patient Advocacy. It is truely my honor to assist you in your healthcare journey.

​

I have over 40 years of experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist (often known as an Echo Tech) so I especially enjoy working with heart patients.
 

I have worked in hospitals, clinics and doctor’s offices, and I have coordinated and participated in clinical trials for an ultrasound company.
 

I have done insurance billing for a small psychotherapy practice, which gives me an understanding of how to work with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurers.
 

Having served both patients and providers gives me a broad view of the perspectives of each, which makes me a more effective mediator and “translator.” 
 

I have a wealth of knowledge about alternative and complimentary healthcare, such as acupuncture, massage, herbal medicine and more.
 

I carry a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology and I am an ordained Interfaith Minister, so I can help support the emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects of your journey.

Experience

​

 I have supported heart patients, cancer patients, stroke patients, and elders with multiple healthcare issues through their healthcare crises and ongoing healthcare needs. 
 

In 2019 I became a Board Certified Patient Advocate in order to be able to share my experience and expertise with more people in order to help facilitate and ease their journey through a difficult illness or healthcare challenge.
