November is National Family Caregivers Month

This month we celebrate all the many, many caregivers across the country that help to care for a family member or loved one. It is an opportunity to

- Raise awareness of family caregiver issues - Celebrate the efforts of family caregivers - Educate family caregivers about self-identification I- ncrease support for family caregivers

This month the theme is to remind caregivers to take time to care for themselves as well. Caregiving can be exhausting and adversely effect the health of the caregiver as well. As challenging as it may be, it is important to make the time to nurture yourself in order to be able to care for another. As they say on the plane, "place your oxygen mask before helping others."!

In Gratitude to all who devote themselves to this loving care.
